We are delighted to announce our first Service Families Coffee Morning on Wednesday 6th December at the Jubilee Centre in Watchfield. The morning is hosted by the Trust’s new Service Pupil Community Link Workers, Mandy Milburn and Suzie Davies.
Through Armed Forces Covenant funding, they have been appointed by the Faringdon Learning Trust (FLT) to support service pupils and their families.
The schools that currently come under FLT are:
- Ashbury and Compton Beauchamp CE Primary School
- Buckland CE Primary School
- Faringdon Community College
- Folly View Primary School
- John Blandy Primary School
- Longcot and Fernham CE Primary School
- Shrivenham CE Primary School
- The Elms Primary School
- Watchfield Primary School
Mandy and Suzie are both parents of service children and appreciate the challenges that some service families may face when moving into a new area with school aged children. Our aim is to provide you with direct pastoral and welfare support should you need it.
They are delighted to have been given the opportunity to be able to assist you in navigating life as a service parent.
They will be working alongside military bases and the trust schools to unite our service families and support military pupils to thrive, emotionally, socially and academically.
The coffee morning is open to all service families with children in FLT schools.
