Clicker 8: Two-day virtual training

Learn how to use Clicker 8 software and discover its potential to support pupils in their learning. Suitable for SENCos, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Parents and SENSS Staff. Facilitated by the SENSS Assistive Technology Team.

• Clicker Document: a child friendly word processor with additional support features such as speak, picture support, voice notes and word prediction
• User Options: different settings to meet the learners needs
• Cloze Documents: create ‘fill in the blank’ activities
• Sentence Sets, Connect Sets and Word Banks: writing grids to give different levels of writing support
• Clicker Books: read and create books
• Clicker Boards: mind mapping area to organise ideas
• Matching Sets: create matching activities
• Talk Sets: create activities to develop speaking and listening skills
• Learning Grids: free ready made classroom resources
• Analytics: assess pupil progress

Booking Information:

This training course is held over TWO DAYS. Attendees are required to attend BOTH sessions in order to complete the course. The cost is £40 per attendee, in order to attend both sessions. There is no charge for parents who wish to attend.

You will need access to the Clicker 8 software on the same Windows/Mac computer that you are joining the online meeting from. If you do not have a copy of the software, you can request a free trial from: https://www.cricksoft.com/uk/clicker/clicker-trial . In the ‘additional information’ section, please add a note that you are attending training with Oxfordshire County Council.

Training material needed for the course is available under ‘Attachments’. Details of how to join the online Zoom training are available in the booking details. However, all information will also be emailed to you, just before the training date
