This project brings together practitioners from across KS2 to understand the journey that pupils go on to secure the end of key stage standards: Establishing starting points, closing ‘gaps’ in transcription, and designing purposeful and meaningful writing opportunities to motivate and engage pupils in ‘show casing’ a range of writing skills.
Exploring effective approaches and guidance to support writing provision, practice, pedagogy and progress towards end of Key Stage Standards.
Following this suite of training you will be visited by a member of the HIAS English Advisory Team for three hours to support you in identifying next steps for target pupils and identify useful strategies to further their progress in writing.
