Nature Basics- To Build your Confidence and Knowledge Outdoors

This event will build your confidence in, and enjoyment of, taking your students outdoors, and perhaps enthuse you to be involved in teaching the new GCSE in Natural History in due course. We will teach you about some common species, including memorable fun facts that you can use to wow your students. And more importantly, we’ll teach you easy ways to find out  more, so that you can show your students how to learn for themselves. We will also teach you how to recognise and manage the risks of being outdoors with students.
