Teaching Strategies for Effective Inclusion of EAL Learners (3 part course)

Developing pedagogical understanding and confidence to apply EAL strategies and academic language teaching in mainstream classrooms.

The CPD series will ensure mainstream teachers feel confident when deploying a range of effective strategies which ensure excellent outcomes for EAL learners in the mainstream. During this series of sessions you will develop your pedagogy, acquire practical skills, and increase your confidence with teaching linguistically diverse classes. You will receive support with lesson planning and adapting lessons for equitable access, improving EAL student outcomes and creating an inclusive learning environment. Spaces are limited.

This is a 3 part course on the following dates:

• Monday 4th November 4pm-5:30pm
• Monday 10th November 4pm-5:30pm
• Monday 9th June 4pm-5:30pm

Ticket prices are £100 to attend all three sessions or £40 for attending the first session only.

This course is suitable for Teachers in Primary and Secondary phases.
