Principles of Effective, Whole-class Differentiation (SEND)

This session grounds participants in the principles that support all learners to achieve their maximum potential.

Differentiating lessons is a core responsibility for all classroom staff, but it can be difficult to know how to meet individual needs.

This session grounds participants in the principles that support all learners to achieve their maximum potential.

Whether you are a Teaching Assistant, ECT or a teacher seeking some professional rejuvenation, this workshop is designed to lead to more creative, more inclusive, and ultimately more productive differentiation.

Senior Leaders and experienced class teachers from Frank Wise Special School will work with you to support on individual concerns.

Learning Outcomes:-

● To explore strategies for the effective differentiation in highly mixed ability classrooms.

● To develop knowledge and understanding of how to better meet the needs of children with SEND in an inclusive classroom.

● To create more effective learning environments.

● To explore how the principles can be easily transferred to your classroom.

● To share and discuss classroom concerns with experts in the field.

This session is being run by Matt McArthur from Frank Wise School in Banbury, a special school for children and young adults aged between 2 and 19.
